How it works
A plate with halved soft eggs, sliced avocado and grains

How it works

Three taps and you are cooking.

  1. Tap what you have

Open My kitchen and tap what's in your fridge and pantry. Rough is fine.

The My kitchen screen in Plenty, with eggs, Greek yoghurt, tofu and spinach tapped in the fridge section.
  2. Pick a meal

Plenty shows what you can make right now. Each meal combines foods with protein, fibre or healthy fat. Meals like that tend to be more satisfying.

The Tonight screen in Plenty, suggesting egg drop soup with whatever veg, fried egg over anything, and tofu scramble.
  3. Follow the steps

Short steps, no lecture. Some meals need a pan. Some only need a bowl.

A cooking guide in Plenty for egg drop soup with whatever veg, showing eggs, spinach and olive oil with short tips.

Your week

Find the meals you made again.

Tap “I made this” on a meal and it lands in your week. The good ones are easy to find and make again.

The This week screen in Plenty, with the days of the week and today's meals, like peanut butter toast and oats.

Sources

Where the ideas come from.

Ingredient information comes from the Canadian Nutrient File, Health Canada, and USDA FoodData Central.

The app is inspired by registered dietitian Abbey Sharp's approach of building meals around protein, fibre and healthy fat.

Plenty is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Abbey Sharp, Health Canada or the USDA.
